Governor Newsom Announces New Food Assistance for Those Affected by Los Angeles Fires!

In the wake of the devastating Los Angeles fires, Governor Gavin Newsom has introduced the Disaster CalFresh program to provide food assistance to affected residents. Eligible families can receive a one-time payment of $975 to help meet their nutritional needs during this challenging time. Applications are open from February 10, 2025, and can be submitted by phone or in person at local DPSS offices.
