The Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway, currently under construction, will cut down travel time between Varanasi and Kolkata from 12–14 hours to just 6–7 hours. This major highway project promises faster, safer travel, improved regional connectivity, and a boost to the local economy. Expected to be completed by 2026–2027, the expressway will also support sustainable development.
